Even though the film was desperately similar to the first one in formula, it was bigger in scale. The DVD has a nice little feature about all the places where they shot the film.

SPECIAL FEATURES
1) Global Adventure
Director Joss Whedon and the cast talk about shooting Avengers: Age of Ultron on location all over the world. The scale of it all was much bigger than the first The Avengers movie.
They shot in Seoul, South Korea, the UK and South Africa where they had pretty locations, which they sadly (but marvellously) had to destroy!
2) Sneak Peeks
You get to see an Ant-Man trailer, a promo for Marvel Super Heroes-Disney Infinity (an action-adventure sandbox ‘toys to life’ video game) and a feature on the tie-up between the Iron Man movies and the Audi car brand.
