Lots of flair, interesting camera work and wit still don’t make up for an incoherent plot and some forced acting. The DVD has just one extra called A Higher Class of Hero. In it, the crew talk about director Guy Ritchie and his work. They tried to get realistic fight sequences and made car chases look different by merging CGI with real life stunts where the actors were actually inside the cars during the filming.
It’s a testament to the high production values we have come to expect from Hollywood films and why we shudder in disgust when we see Bollywood trying to attempt similar stunts and tricks with the low level production values that we have in India.
The great thing about the DVD is that they’ve included a free movie DVD in with it. I got Godzilla (here’s the DVD review of that film) but I’m assuming you could get any other film they choose to include.
