The premiere of Gulaabi Gang did take place and the film is releasing after the hoopla and court case that seems to follow a lot of films giving them a good amount of publicity as well. Always look on the positive side!

The cramped confines of PVR Juhu, Mumbai saw Gulaab Gang playing in four different screens for the attending celebrities, press and glitterati.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Juhi Chawla-Mehta were there to promote their film and mix with their guests. Madhuri even visited all the screens and shook hands with audience members. She was the epitome of grace and friendliness as well as looking far more glamorous in person than she does on screen.

Several other celebs and movie makers were in attendance like Sudhir Mishra, Nagesh Kukunoor and Sakshi Tanwar.

Both Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla have good performances in the film but it could have done with less songs in between the action and perhaps a bit more of a substantial ending.
